Local Cryotherapy treatments are used to reduce pain, inflammation, and swelling in targeted areas. It is used for accelerated healing of areas such as neck, shoulders, elbows, wrist, hands, back, legs, ankles, and feet. The local Cryo-device produces a beam of cryogenic nitrogen gas to rapidly cool the affected areas, causing a fast decrease in swelling, pain, and inflammation. The procedure is effective in acute and chronic conditions.
Clients frequently combine this treatment with Whole Body Cryotherapy, to treat problem areas both from the "inside out" as well as from the "outside in". Temperatures as low as -240°F can be reached by our devices. A localized treatment only needs to be conducted for about 5 to 10 minutes, with the benefit exceeding hours of icing.
